Nestled in the heart of off-road enthusiasts' dreams, this event has become synonymous with jaw-dropping action, heart-pounding rock jumps, and a community that lives and breathes the off-road lifestyle. This event took place in Johnson Valley, more popularly known as "The Hammers."

The Legend of The Hammers

King of the Hammers (KOH): Toughest Off-Road Races Worldwide

King of the Hammers (KOH) has earned its reputation as one of the toughest off-road races in the world. Imagine a challenging mix of high-speed desert racing and technical rock crawling, all set against the breathtaking yet unforgiving backdrop of Johnson Valley. The Hammers, a series of rocky canyons and ridges, provide the perfect arena for off-road enthusiasts to showcase their skills and sometimes out-of-this-world builds! In the middle of all this is 40 acres of land known as "Laser Town."

Laser Town at The Hammers: Where Off-Road Dreams Come True

Laser Town, nestled within the rugged landscape of Johnson Valley during the annual King of the Hammers event, is a unique off-road phenomenon. This makeshift city, little outside the KOH dust, is a testament to the indomitable spirit of off-road enthusiasts.

Owned and operated by Cody Waggoner, Laser Town is a vibrant encampment that serves as a temporary home for racers, fans, and adrenaline junkies alike. This illuminated oasis becomes a central hub where off-road enthusiasts from all walks of life gather to share stories, swap tips, and revel in the shared passion for extreme off-road adventures. As the sun sets over Johnson Valley, Laser Town awakens, becoming a beacon that guides racers home and an iconic symbol of the 24-hour off-road experience that defines King of the Hammers. This is where Terra Crew made its mark for the Prerunner Paradise event.

A Glimpse of the Action at Terra Crew Prerunner Paradise Event

To kick things off, let's transport you straight into the heart of the action. Friday saw people from all over pulling into Laser Town to set up for the weekend. Friday night was a relaxed affair with people hanging out, getting their rigs ready for Saturday festivities.

Saturday morning arrived with eager off-road enthusiasts ready to hit the trails. Terra Crew kicked off the day with food trucks and a vendor show. By noon, dirt bike rides had started, leading up to the trucks staging for the off-road exploration of Johnson Valley. The real action began at the Sand Dunes, where trucks lined up to jump a small 5' jump, sending them high and far. Here, the true capabilities of prerunners were on display – some built for extreme off-road challenges, others serving as combination of daily driver and play trucks.

After an hour of jumping, people loaded up and headed to the next spot. This was no ordinary jump; it required skill and courage. A long whooped-out section led to a hill with a massive boulder in the ground, presenting a 45' to 65' gap to clear it.

Embedded below is the Terra Crew Prerunner Paradise Event video, showcasing this insane rock jump that will have your heart racing and your off-road spirit ignited.

As the dust settled and the sun set, people gathered for a night of big-screen, high-action videos put together by Terra Crew's talented crew. This was no ordinary screen; it was a professional production big screen used by King of The Hammers during their week-long race. Hundreds gathered around as James and the rest of the Terra Crew showcased industry giants' movies, throwback videos, and talked about the journey of Terra Crew. This was an unforgettable experience for the whole family!
