Grease Application:\u003c\/strong\u003e Apply a fresh, thin layer of \u003cstrong\u003eProthane Super Grease\u003c\/strong\u003e to the inside of the control arm bushing sleeves\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003e4. Install Bushings:\u003c\/strong\u003e Use an arbor press, dead blow hammer, or rubber mallet to press in the new bushings until they are fully seated\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003e5. Check Fit:\u003c\/strong\u003e Test if the inner bushing sleeves can be pushed through the new bushings, by hand, with medium-light tension. If excessive force is needed, ream the bushings.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e6. Reaming (if necessary):\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eUse the proper size reamer to ream the bushings while they are installed on the control arms\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSpin the reamer fast but make slow passes\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAfter reaming, check again if the inner sleeve can slide through the bushing by hand. Repeat if needed\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003e7. Debris Removal:\u003c\/strong\u003e If reaming was done, clean out any debris from between the bushings and inside the zerk fitting hole\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003e8.
